About a year ago I wrote a feature for Fugas, Público and travelling supplement, about a new bar-restaurant, Galeria de Paris
that was opening on the street of the same name. Since then, both the day and the night life of the city have increased. New shops, street markets, bars, restaurants, clubs, etc. along with long time ones have brought a new flare to Porto. Using for a guide some of my suggestion for A Baixa do Porto I took and afternoon and an evening to shoot several events happening in the same day. 12 hours mark the time between the first, Nuno Resende’s conference “As vistas estereoscópicas da Quinta do Paço (Cinfães, séc. XIX): uma visão de mundos num Portugal em mudança...”. at Clube Literário do Porto and the aftermath of W-Xife in Porto Sounds, an event held at Rua Cândido dos Reis. Between there was the opening day of Mercado Porto Belo and the second anniversary of Centro Comercial Bombarda .
